  • North Tawton MUGA and New play Equipment

    We are really pleased to have been chosen by North Tawton Town council following a tender process to Install the new MUGA , Trampoline , Basket swings , See saw all with Tiger-mulch Safety surfacing ,we also created Link paths using Agri-Flex made from recycled rubber to enable users all year access to the play space . The Muga has 2 goal ends with basketball posts ,complete with Backboards and shooting hoops ,the size of the Muga is 28 x 15 and has 3 meter Duex 868 mesh with rebound galvanised mesh and is proving to be very popular . The Trampoline is the biggest on the Market 3 meters x 2 meters and very popular with all ages and Inclusive . The basket swing again is very Inclusive and good fun for all ages . Olivia the See saw is a great addition to the Toddler / Junior area along with the new Link path     

  • Princess Avenue play area,Ilfracombe

    After a long tender process through North Devon District Council ,  TK Play were successfully awarded the opportunity to build a fantastic play area in Ilfracombe overlooking the sea.One The main focus with this project was accessibility we have installed an Inclusive Roundabout , to acompany the Basket swing , the Blazer see saw ,Spinning pods, Cradle swings and sensory Panels, we have included equipment from Junior through to the younger age range. We also included Tiger-mulch safety surfacing which adds all year usage and extra comfort around the equipment ,The Pathways are made from Agri-flex 

  • Westward Ho! for Torridge District Council

    TK Play are proud to have been chosen by Torridge District council, to install a new play boat for junior to Toddlers at Westward ho! TK Play were asked for ideas for the prestigious area and suggested a small wooden boat, the work was completed over 2 days and has been a great success.

  • Octavia Road, Southampton

    TK Play and the client worked alongside each other to develop a bespoke solution for children near Octavia Rd, Southampton. Earlier this year TK Play managed a project in Octavia Rd, Southampton.   The solution included several bespoke pieces including a train themed slide with connecting rope bridge, a set of climbing equipment along with a stand alone fort slide and spring based see-saw.   TK Play assisted the project from conception through to installation.

  • Bowden Green in Bideford for Tarka Homes

    TK Play and the client worked alongside each to replace and protect equipment to ensure the site last's beyond expectation. TK Play is proud to have completed refurbishment of 9 local sites in North Devon. Each site had its own personality with its own needs which TK Play was able to cater for.   Bowden Green; first installed 15 years ago, received restoration of the equipments metal work and high quality ropes to ensure the parks safety and to ensure the equipment serves beyond its expectation.   Our expertise was applied when installing replacement netting solutions to serval sites formed from consultation with the client.   TK Play are currently looking to start several small refurbishment projects. Terry Warrington from TK Play predicts as the recession hits harder the choice to maintain existing equipment will become a more popular choice for customers.

  • Pilton Park, Barnstaple

    TK Play Ltd are pleased to be working with North Devon Council, and over the past year we have completed refurbishment on various items within the park. The first of which was to  replace the old rotten wooden fencing and change to a new Galvanised bow top fence, with yellow self closing gates.The work was completed over 4 days in tricky conditions, with the ground being very wet and access poor, we had some challenges to overcome and are pleased with the results.   TK Play have since refurbished an old wooden multi-play unit that had been installed by Terry of TK Play 17 years ago! We replaced some parts, then sanded & re-stained the wooden structure of this popular piece of equipment.   TK Play have also completed wet pour repairs and laid a new rubber path.  

  • Anchor Park, Appledore

    TK Play have installed a Birds Nest Swing complete with our TigerMulch - Safety Surface as well as surfacing the area of the roundabout.

  • Addition of colour to 'Bidefort' in Victoria Park, Bideford

    TK Play have painted the 'Bidefort' structure in Victoria Park, Bideford in an eye catching colour scheme that draws attention to the many bespoke features found throughout. In addition we have laid our TigerMulch Safety Surface on the Hockings Ice Cream Van spot found just outside the Victoria Park site in the car park.   • Hamp Academy, Bridgwater for Somerset County Council

    TK Play Ltd were pleased to be chosen for this project - our first installation for Somerset County Council. We installed two Goal End Walls with integral Basketball Hoops, we also fitted some extra 3 metre high panels to act as a ball barrier in colours chosen by the school. Hamp Academy also chose a Dino 2 Space Net, which is 4 metres high, the safety surfacing we laid is Wet pour; the school chose black with a yellow fleck to compliment the colour scheme. The council, school & pupils are extremely happy with the end result. References are available.

  • Savage Rd, Plymouth

    In early February 2013 TK Play Ltd installed a Pirate Ship & safety Surfacing for The Play Inspection Company on behalf of Affinity Sutton Housing. This was part of a refurbishment project we undertook to refresh the tired & vandalised site. Unfortunately just a few short weeks later the Pirate Ship was burnt down in a vandalism attack! This had a huge effect on the local residents who asked Affinity Sutton for a consultation to rebuild the Pirate Ship as it was so popular with the local families. In January of 2015 TK Play Ltd were chosen following a tender process to replace the damaged Pirate Ship & lay new surfacing. Part of the project was clearing the area surrounding the play area of vegetation including small trees & bushes, re-making fences & building a set of new steps into the embankment.  

  • Winkleigh Parish Council

    TK Play have recently completed refurbishment work in Winkleigh, Devon for Torridge District Council.   The solution included the installation of a replacement Tunnel Bridge branded with the TK Play logo.   TK Play and the client worked alongside each other to ensure the site lasts beyond expectation.
