Torridge District Council

Refurbishment Project

TK Play are proud to announce they have been selected to carry out work on 5 sites in the Torridge district, refurbishing play areas. Work is going well and all will be finished on time.

Outlook

TK Play are currently looking to start several small refurbishment projects. Terry Warrington from TK Play predicts as the recession hits harder the choice to maintain existing equipment will become a more popular choice for customers.

Gl Loosemore Builders

Current Project Status

We are currently working on a project for GL Loosemore Builders in Silverwood Heights, Barnstaple. TK Play have been working with building companies for several years and have in this case looked after the project thoughout.

12.08.11 - Victoria Park, Bideford

Play Project Extension Underway!

"With grant money from Community Spaces, a Big lottery funding grant secured by the Parent Carers Voice and Torridge District Council's Culture and Leisure Services team, this exciting extension to the existing play areas will expand and enhance the already fantastic facilities for children in the popular riverside park."

Torridge's Lead Member for Young People, Councillor John Lewis, said, "In times when so many play areas across the country are being closed down,are in disrepair due to lack of funds or as in parts of London where I'm originally from, suffering at the hands of opportunistic violence and vandalism, it's great to see a new area under construction. As a family we have used Victoria Park both before and since my election, and all agree this will be a huge asset to the park and to Bideford. Look out for a wheelchair friendly trampoline, a basket swing, an all inclusive sand pit and much more to keep the children happy and occupied!"

16.07.11 - Stoke Fleming

Project Completion

TK Play proudly won the bid and carried out bespoke work for a site in Stoke Fleming. TK Play installed a bespoke boat, playhouse, set of swings and slide to create a unique play experience.

March - May 2011 - Refurbishment of 9 Local Sites

Recent Project

TK Play is proud to have completed refurbishment of 9 local sites in North Devon. Each site had its own personality with its own needs which TK Play was able to cater for.

Our expertise was applied when installing new netting solutions to several sites formed from consultation with the client.
